In order to ensure your experience with us is pleasant, we ask that all Museum visitors comply with our established policies.
Museum visitors may use hand-held cameras to take non-flash photographs for private, noncommercial use in designated areas of our permanent galleries
The Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center may photograph, film, or videotape visitors for educational and promotional purposes. Entry into the Museum is implied consent for the use of the visitor’s likeness, voice, or video image for educational and promotional purposes.
Refrain from touching exhibits.
Shirt and shoes are required (no wheeled shoes).
Food and beverages are allowed only in the Pequot Café, Gathering Space, and outdoor terrace.
Silence cell phones.
Only service animals are allowed in the Museum.
Children ages 15 and younger must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times while inside the Museum.
All parcels and bags are subject to inspection at the discretion of security
Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center will be closed if a severe weather emergency is issued by the Tribal Government.
Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center reserves the right to close in anticipation of severe weather.
If there is a closing due to weather, there will be email alerts, posts on our website and on Facebook announcing the museum’s closing
If you have scheduled a special event or field trip that has been cancelled due to weather or other unforeseeable events, it will be rescheduled at a convenient date of your choice as the calendar will allow or a full refund of your deposit.
